PoliPlaster®25-D (Mineral Decorative Plaster )

DESCRIPTION OF PRODUCT
PoliPlaster®25-D, Cement-based  decorative façade coating.

FIELDS OF APPLICATION
Applied as a final coating on exterior thermal insulation systems and façades of all buildings.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE
PRRPARATION OF SUBSTRATES
-The substrat should be clean, smooth and sound
-The substrate should be wetted befor applicaition and it should be saturated with water in very hot and windy weather.

MIXING 
-Average of 5.25 – 5.75 lt clean water should be added to 25 kg bag PoliPlaster®25-D. 
-While preparing the mortar, recommended water rate, mixing and aging time should be certainly observed. 
-Slightly hardening materials prepared previously should not be added to the new mixture. 

APPLICATION METHOD
- PoliPlaster®25-D, should be mixed with trowel or lowspeed hand mixer until it reaches a homogenous state. 
-The mortar should be aged for 5 minutes before application and then should be mixed again. 

- PoliPlaster®75-D, should be spread on the substrate uniformly with stainless steel trowel, application thickness should be adjusted according to the biggest pattern stone. 
-Patterns should be applied on the substrate with linear movements with plastic trowel. Patterning should always be done when PoliPlaster®25-D, is still wet.

WATCH POINTS
-Ambient temperature is between +5 °C and +30 °C. 
-Avoid application in very damp and/or hot weather, strong wind or under the sun. 
-It should not be used on substrates which are frozen or melting or have the risk of frost or rain within 2 hours
-Avoid application under direct sunlight.
-Dark colors should not be preferred for application on exterior wall thermal insulation systems. The brightness reference value of the color to be chosen should be higher than 25. If dark colors do not cover more than 10 % of the façade, they can be used for decorative purposes. 
-All tools used for application should be cleaned with water before drying. 
-Can not be left as a final coat. Should be painted by a silicone added façade paint. 
-It should be waited at least 7 days before startin

STORAGE
Must be stored in unopened original packing and in cool and dry environment protected from freezing. In short-term storing, maximum 3 palettes can be stowed on top of each other and delivery has to be according to first in first out system. In long-term storing, the palettes must not be stowed on top of each other.

SHELF LIFE 
1 year as of the production date in dry and moisturefree environment provided that packages will not be opened. Package should be kept tightly closed when not in use.
